We rent out rooms to artists, for workshops and seminars, writers' camps, writers' rooms and also simply to people who want to relax.

We are in the middle of the Languedoc-Rousillon nature park with a wonderful view of the Pyrenees and Narbonne-Plage. Every now and then a few wild horses stroll past and the occasional eagle circles above the treetops. Here in this secluded, relaxed atmosphere, it is easy to switch off and immerse yourself in a very focused, magical space.
We would love to share our little paradise with lots of lovely people.

The nearest beaches in Valras-Plage and Narbonne-Plage are about 45 minutes away from us. The picturesque village of Bize-Minervois is 20 minutes away, with a river that has been turned into a natural swimming pool. On the way there are wild waterholes for swimming and a few restaurants in the town itself.

The next largest village with 2000 inhabitants is Saint-Chinian, where there is a market twice a week where you can buy everything you need. There are bakers, butchers, an organic market, restaurants and supermarkets. Here you can also jump into a river that comes directly from the mountains.

The studio house has a fully equipped kitchen, an extendable table for up to 12 people, a bathroom with rain shower and underfloor heating. Bed linen and towels are provided.

There is a 160x200 double bed on the mezzanine.
The soapstone stove (700kg) adorns the lower part and heats the entire studio in winter. Next to it is a comfortable 140x200 sofa bed from Innovation.
The large curtains can be used to create a private separee.

 

The house is equipped with a glass fibre internet connection.

Under the mezzanine there is a projector and a screen for movie nights.

In addition to the studio, a separate guest room with a large 180x200 double bed in the main house with its own toilet can be rented.

 

Pets are not allowed.

In the outdoor area there are various tables and seats that invite you to linger. As we live here with our two sons, you would share the outdoor area with us.

There is plenty of parking space around the house and you are also welcome to come with your tent.

 

The nearest airports are Beziers, Carcassonne, Montpellier and Toulouse.
